Vertex Connects^TM is dedicated to helping patients at every step of the Vertex gene-therapy journey. We're here to help coordinate the order management process for healthcare providers, including order management logistics and communications, and will also help provide educational information and resources to patients.

Vertex Gene Therapy Support

Vertex Connects Care Managers will be a key point of contact for you and your center throughout the order management and treatment process.

To facilitate a smooth treatment journey, Care Managers will work with you and your team to:

Help coordinate your Vertex gene-therapy order from end to end, including order placement, scheduling of apheresis, and shipping and logistics

Provide updates on the status of each patient's gene therapy during the manufacturing process

Troubleshoot and triage any issues or questions that may arise along the way

Support Built Around Patient Needs

Once you and your patient decide to move forward with a Vertex gene therapy, your patient can enroll in Vertex Connects Patient Support. Each patient will be connected to a dedicated Care Manager who understands the gene-therapy process and can reinforce the education and guidance provided by your treatment center.

The Vertex Connects Care Manager Team stands together.

Vertex Connects Care Managers will:

Keep in close communication with treatment centers to provide order updates
Answer non-clinical questions about the treatment process and share resources to help patients and their loved ones prepare for each step
Determine patient eligibility for additional treatment-related support programs, including travel and lodging support^*

^*Eligibility requirements and restrictions apply. A completed Vertex Connects enrollment form is needed to participate in the program and determine eligibility for certain program offerings. Enrollment in Vertex Connects Patient Support is not required to receive Vertex gene therapy.
